McCall's Blue Chip Cody

   McCall's Blue Chip Cody is a son of Baron's Benny VB, a four time gr. grandson of the famous Hillswicke Orcale.  Blue Chip's dam, Pro's Last Lady, is a daughter of Congress Champion, Ruoff's Protester.  Bellevue Farm purchased Blue Chip's dam, Pro's Last Lady, from the Vern Benna estate in 1999 and Blue Chip Cody was one of the last ponies that the great Vern Benna bred before he passed away.  Blue Chip has a beautiful head and top line to go along with the style and substance that we like in our Classic Shetlands.  He also has a small ear and big eye that Vern would have loved to seen.  Blue Chip's passes his great traits onto his off spring, along with a great disposition that we demand to have in our Classic Shetlands.  Two of his offspring have already found homes in prominent breeding programs in the state of Iowa;  McCall's BC Rebel is a stallion for Henry Siemers in Marshalltown, Iowa and McCall's BC Dixie Blue is a future mare for Royal Pony Farm in Roland, Iowa.  McCall's BC Shelly Cody also was one of the highlights in the MCSBA Sale in 2004.  The picture above of Blue Chip was taken when he was 6 years old in the fall of 2005, the bottom left picture was taken in 2002 at the Bellevue Farm Open House following the MCSBA Sale, and the bottom right picture was taken when Blue Chip was a yearling in 2000.
