This great black stallion was bred by Harry Killkelly of Cuba City, Wisconsin.  Silver Mane's Pierre Cody was sold in 1966 to Ed Nelthorpe of Nelthorpe's Tiny Acres Pony Farm in California.    Nelthorpe created a champion herd with Pierre Cody being the nucleus of it.
